There are strong ruours on the internet of a sequel to SW FU being release in most likely 2010. There is a sort of trailer of it up on youtube. Official Nintendo Magazine on line are even reporting it. The first game was quite flawed but still reasonably interesting and enjoyable for me and IMHO. They'll have to improve things for the second though for me to purchase it, if it exists that is. Wiimotionplus, longer game and a vs cpu duel mode pls. Better and less sticky cutscenes too please etc etc

I really liked the first one. I think the Wii version is actually superior to the other versions.

As for the sequel, the systems haven't been revealed yet. Hopefully, there will be a Wii version that uses WiiMotion Plus. I'd also like to be able to replay any level I've beaten at any time.

Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

I didn't get to buy the first one on the the Wii, I had to get it on DS, so I hope this is true, so I can get it.

It was confirmed a few days ago, its not a rumor.

The Game.

Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

I enjoyed the first one. The 360 version was longer, and had more features and replayablility. Plus, you actually got to pull down the Star Destroyer like in the commercials. And when you threw the troopers, they went way higher and farther. It is hilarious to just do that. If I end up getting a 360 like planned, I am surely getting it on that.

i rather enjoyed the first game on wii... granted, it's the only home console i own, so i didn't have another choice, but i thought it was good. if the second comes out for wii, too, i'll be buying it... although.... that hero's story is done. what else can they really add? the whole concept of a sequel for this has me confused and intrigued at the same time.

I'd hope they'd have a better story. After watching the cutscenes on Youtube I was really disappointed and it sounded like IGN overhyped it so I passed. I'd really rather see a new Jedi Knight game with Kyle Katarn, frankly.

So would I. Those games rock. But the first TFU was still great, and it is the fastest selling Star Wars game of all time, so it is kind of expected.

i got the first one for wii from my library [my library carries Wii games also] and I loved it. I would definitely consider a second one.

Just let it happen.

I can only hope for online play in this version, or I am not buying the game.

The Wii version has a duel mode. That feature, along with extra levels, outstanding motion controls, and NOT having to pull down the Star Destroyer in-game (the worst and most frustrating part of the other versions) is what makes the Wii version superior. The better graphics and extra DLC in the other versions don't matter as much compared to the Wii version's improvements. Online play for the duel mode would be nice, although I'd settle for being able to play it against computer AI.

As for a new Jedi Knight game with Kyle Katarn, that period of Expanded Universe history is pretty full already, and with a lot of future novels referring to that period. It'd be really tough to retcon in a new worthwhile adventure for Kyle without any continuity problems. Maybe they could do one that takes place after the war with the Yuuzhan Vong, or maybe even during that war, as it would be interesting to finally have Yuuzhan Vong in a video game.

.

That doesn't make in better then the HD version since the HD version has the DLC levels the main game is much longer and the physics system is so much better.

Also i f they make a Yuuzhan Vong game would you like to play as Jacen or some new person. Also i just want a good clone wars game with out the jedi and focus on Rex and the clones.

WAT!

I disagree. The Wii version is fun, but not superior, in my opinion. The levels are a lot longer in the other versions, and it is harder.`The level designs are different, they are made better. The Star Destroyer scene was awesome, while it was frustrating, it was still a great addition to the game and I wish it was in the Wii version, doing it with motion controls would have been freaking awesome. The other versions had the stance that Starkiller was supposed to have, the backwards one, while the Wii version doesn't. That stance is way better. The force powers are stronger in the others too. Plus, the best part, in the other versions you can get a black lightsaber.

That's just my opinion.

BF3 is in development. Supposed to come in June, according to the new info.

The DLC levels only make the main game (not counting the alternate future levels) about the same length, since the Wii version has 3 Jedi Temple levels that I believe are part of the DLC of the other versions and an extra level where you find and rescue Garm Bel Iblis on Cloud City. The physics and graphics on the Wii version are just fine, and the improvements in those areas in the other versions don't match up to the incredible control system, duel mode, and lack of Star Destroyer pulling in the Wii version. After all, gameplay is more important than presentation.

I meant that you play as Kyle Katarn in the Yuuzhan Vong War in some adventure that wasn't in the novels. There was actually a point when the Jedi were all called together and Kyle was mentioned as one of the ones who couldn't make it to the meeting. That would make a good spot to base a game around.

It was reported as a "strong rumour" on the actual websites I read, eg. ONM.

Anyway, I played the xbox version and thought it was too typically isolational xboxish in gameplay. I'd hate to go back to playing a lightsabre style game with a xbox like controller now, even if I was just waggling, lol....I prefered the more intuitive wii version with its duem mode. The wii version saw starkiller pulling down the star destroyer in a cutscene. That's IMHO anyway.

The first one is best described as a marmite game.

I've just read that Krome is out of business, the people who made the Wii version of Force Unleashed. I wasn't really looking forward to more Kitty Blade but I was looking forward to seeing the Wii version of Force Unleashed 2 at the end of this month. Does this mean I won't be seeing Force Unleashed 2 on the Wii at all?
