Hey guys. I'm sure there are multiple threads in existence on these topics, but i've not seen them pop up in QUITE some time, and am not really sure how to track them down anyway, so i figured i'd just start a new one.

I just recently got my roommate into super smash bros., and we've been going at it like rabid dogs every night since (the GAME people! you dirty children... ). so i was wondering if you guys could post pictures or at least descriptions of your custom stages.

i'd also like to open up the topic for some general discussion on the next smash bros. game. i was thinking you could list the 3 new Nintendo characters you most want to see in it, the 3 new non-Nintendo characters you most want to see, as well as any features you want to see added or taken away.

i'll start:

first, i'll post a couple pictures of some of my favorite custom stages once i get my camera to work.

second, i really want to see Fawful, The Battalion Wars Commander, and Chibi-Robo as playable characters, as well as Megaman, Rayman, and a Final Fantasy character (cloud is unlikely as he's never been on a nintendo system, but Cecil from IV would work well, as would Terra from VI). i'd love to see clone characters given more varied movesets, see the level editor expanded, as well as a Mii feature added, where you can upload your Miis as playable characters, and customize their movesets and even costumes, so you have in effect, a character creator, too.

any other thoughts, or stages?

To make your life easier, you can take snapshots in-game, then put them on an SD card and download the picture converter. I'm too lazy right now to find the links.

well i tried to remake some SSB64 stages, like the hyrule castle and the two mario bros stages.
I also did the classic 1. level of the old school donkey kong as well as an attempted meta ridley battle ground =D

yeah, everybody seems to have remade the 64 stages. i don't know why Ninty didn't include them in this game... which i guess adds another point that i hope for the next one they can include ALL the 64 stages, ALL the Melee stages, and ALL the brawl stages, in addition to the new ones and the level editor.

I just use the search function on the homepage, I'm sure there are more new character threads though, found a few more with advanced google search.

All I created mostly was the CD Factories. That, and various random stages so I could unlock the bonus items.

oh, and how do you see professor layton playing? like what would he do for attacks? he's not really an aggressive type of guy...

You don't even need to modify it at all, as those threads where only about one part of your thread anyway.

Then why did you post them? A mod is going to see that and just lock this thread.

oh well. nobody's posting anyway, so it wouldn't be a big deal. it's kinda a hassle to take and post up pics of your stages, anyway, and i think Reala's right that the next smash bros. threads have been a little beaten into the ground.

The poster of the thread wanted to know what people wanted in the next game, those threads provide many answers to that, it was nothing against the user I was trying to help.

@Reala: i understand that. thanks. it was helpful. i'm just saying this thread doesn't really seem to be going anywhere anyway (the wealth of other threads like it may be a big reason why), so it's not a big deal.

As far as Professor Layton as a character, he showed some combat prowess at the end of The Diabolical Box. Just give the man a sword and watch him go. I'd imagine he'd have a sort of fencing style of combat if he was included.

@Trevor_Fox: interesting. i've not played either game (though i'd love to if i could find my ds.... i hate it when it hides like this.) so i didn't know. very cool. and it's a Ninty published game, right? i'll hope to see him in the next game now.

You might be able to play a demo at the official website. After I played the demo, I bought the game.
