What? Sega Made a Good Sonic Game? And its not on The Sega Genesis? Sega Did, What Nintendon't?
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
I have currently 2200 Wii points, and I certainly want Bit.Trip Fate (800), so I still need to get 100 points. Problem is, that if I want 100 points, I want to buy a 1000 points card and not a 3000 one. The problem is the 1000 points cards are extremely overpriced where I live (€14,95) and its hard to find Wii Points Cards for the fair price (1 Wii Point = €0,01). the only Points card I can get for the fair price are the ones of 3000, and I don't have enough money for that (€30,-) right now :/.
However, I'm also not so hyped for this game as I was a week ago, I noticed some downsides: -If I buy it on WiiWare (which is the only online service I can buy it on) I am paying twice the price as iPhone users and certainly 500 Points too much because it is 1000 in Japan. -The game has 4x4 stages (and boss fights). Lets say a stage takes 5 minutes. That's 16x5=80 minutes. There are 7 special stages. Lets say each of them takes 4 minutes. In total, the whole thing will be: 80+7x4=108 minutes. That's almost 2 hours. I think that's a bit too short for a game that comes with a price tag of €15. (I have a rule for myself (to make sure I invest my money well) that says that the amount of €'s I spent on a game must be equal or less to the number of hours I play it.) -As far as I know, the game uses the Wii Remote's D-pad and has no Nunchuck/Classic Controller support. My thumbs are too big for the D-pad (or the D-pad is too little ) so if that is true the controls will not be comfortable for me. -There is almost certainly coming a next episode that will probably have some improvements over this episode and probably the same price tag. So why am I buying this if I can get something better in the future for the same price?

I don't know anymore if I should buy this game...
First, you can get 1000 Points for market value with a debit/credit card on the Wii Shop Channel. If you're too young to have such a card, ask your parents to use one of theirs while you pay them back in cash.
Second, acts from Sonic 3 & Knuckles (which are probably similar in length to Sonic 4) commonly take more than 5 minutes.
Third, are you really that good of a Sonic player that you will never die or fail a special stage, especially on your first playthrough? The final secret boss is said to be especially challenging.
Fourth, why would you only play through the game once, especially with Time Attack leaderboards?
Fifth, if you skip this episode to get Episode II, you'll be lost concerning the overall story.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

Thanks, Colombus Day, for giving me two days off of school to enjoy this one
You get 2 days off for Columbus Day?! No fair! I've never even gotten one day off for it.

I'm so glad that it's getting such good reviews. The flamewars about this game that have waged on for months now, and on just about every platform of commentary, has driven me absolutely batsniz. Glad we can finally tell all those annoying folks to stuff a sock in it and buzz off because it's a GOOD GAME. Now if we could only get people to see how great that new Metroid game is... (still mad about that one...)
