Anyone played Sid Meier's Pirates on Wii? I have a feeling it's going to be one of those games that nobody reviews, I usually end up buying those and being disappointed. What little information I can find on it doesn't tell me if this is just a stripped down mini games version or the whole game...
i got the game its pretty good its been years since i played the pc version so i can't compare them but the wii one is good its played only with the wiimote, control the ship with the d pad, fire canons with the A button, the combat is done wth swinging the wii mote ether left, right, up,, hit the A, b, and a+b to do parry, jump, dodge, i haven't done the dancing mini game, or lockpicking, city attack brings up a onrails shooting mini game thats mostly easy but fun i played it for around 7 hours and enjoyed it then my wii froze and i went to bed, i haven't tried it again i been playing sw3 a lot
yeah lockpicking and city bombing i haven't found any burred treasure so i didn't try that but the city bombing is a onrails shooter where you attack city cannons and ships protecting the city
wow, 7 hours all at once? it must be good, lol... I'm gonna get this one. "Worth Playing" did a review and gave it kind of a bad review, they gave it a 6.5 but then finished up the review by saying that it's a title that you absolutely must own... strange... I guess not everybody writes reviews as well as the NintendoLife staff.
Sid Meier's Pirates sounds as good as Dawn of Discovery, that's the only gave I've ever played that has me hooked for 7 to 8 hours almost every time I play it, if you haven't tried it yet, that game is amazing! thanks
yeah i enjoy it and its a 40$ game, and with in the 7 hours i put into it i oly defeated 1 of the 10 big pirates and didn't save any of my family xplay given wii games low scores and end it with" this is a must play even if we did give it a 2 out of 5" and all i could think was wtf is wrong with them
