Topic: RAREWARE Games for VC?

Hey, All. I was just playing DK64 and wishing that rare hadn't joined microsoft. But, if nintendo were to wipe everything Rare out of some of the old rare games, which ones would you want? I myself also wonder if Conker's Bad Fur Day would be censored if it showed up. Leave a reply saying which rare game you want back on VC! [Even though it's highly unlikely that that would ever happen]

DK64 was a great game. I loved the multiplayer to it, also the gunfiring during single player and the boss fights were cool, especially the last one in a boxing arena. I wish I would never sell it together with ocarina of time and a soccer game for about 20 euros Stupid deal now afterhand...

Yeah, my entire family loves playing multiplayer with DK64 rather than mario kart or wii sports. Its my families favorite multiplayer game. There's always a chance of finding it on ebay- I sold about 10 games and using VC and ebay, I've found 5 of them.

I also love the music on DK64. Compared to most current games, DK64 music is 100 times better. I loved it so much I learned all the pieces on clarinet and piano @_@.

I really like Conker's Bad Fur Day. Such a classic, with tons of references to other movies.

@Ninten And the funny thing is, Conkers Bad Fur day has more blood, more language, and more mature jokes than any other game I've ever seen, and yet it's about ANIMALS and it's by the same people who made DK64!

You've got a point there. But I never played DK64 though.

The count Batula Spooky level has more blood than probably 5 mature games put together. It's also funny, the blood kinda looks like ketchup:)

DK64 is really not violent at all. It was the first RARE game to have language [there's the word hell in the intro]. I guess after easing into language with the word "hell", RARE decided that language was good so they mad Conkers Bad Fur Day

That's the entire point of the game Conker was awesome

Yeah, Conker was awesome. LOL it would be great if they put him in a SSB game. He would destroy [though this SSB might have to be rated M]

You know, I know it's not possible, but I would love to see Conker on the Virtual Console.

Isn't Conker considered a RARE character and not a Nintendo one? After all, he was on Xbox

I dunno if I would really like the Donkey Kong country games- they look pretty repetitive to me.

@OP, taking everything Rare out of the Rare games would mean removing ALL of the characters, sprites, and designs done by Rare. The games were developed by Rare, so that is pretty much impossible. The only Rare game we EVER have a chance of seeing on VC is Donkey Kong 64, since it was overseen and done solely with Nintendo licensed characters. But as for all the other Rare gems, not happening... I mean, the Banjo-Kazooie games AND Perfect Dark are already availible on XBLA. Sad, but true.
