Topic: Puyo Puyo Arcade

Here is a Youtube video of the arcade version of Puyo Puyo on the Japanese Virtual Console. If you remember, this is the first VC title yet to include online play. Now I can't speak or read Japanese, but I'm assuming that message box at the 10 second mark is asking if you want to play the original version or the online version. If anyone can translate it I would like to know what it says. Anyways, even though I already own Mean Bean Machine on Sonic Mega Collection, I would download this, so let's hope for a North American and European release.

The bottom option says Wi-Fi in English so I'm guessing that's the option to play online.

I think if more VC games allow online multiplayer in the future, this is how it should be done. Before the game opens let you choose between the original game as it was (for purists like me) or a new custom online version.

I don't understand why the original gets online support whilst the sequel that is already out didn't even had this.

I perfer the sequel's music to the original's but you can safely say that the styles are very different in the approach to the game.

I hope it's released to those who play online with Puyo Puyo though.
