Beat-'em-ups aren't supposed to be deep, yet they're really fun when done well (e.g. TMNT 2-4, Streets of Rage 2-3, Simpsons Arcade). I've always wanted a Pokémon beat-'em-up where you control the Pokémon directly. This is a day 1 download for me when it comes out (hopefully today).
LOL I've played a few beat-em ups in my day. It was an okay game. No specials, just a one button press with super bland visuals. Same environments over and over and no scenery to speak of is what I saw in this demo.
