Yes; once you get to the S area for 1st generation thats a bit hard and then you start at C area again but 4th generation pokemon appear and they are tough. Currently im not playing the game and left the game at C area with 4th generation pokemopn and beat 1 level in it.

I downloaded the demo and I was surprised at how fun this game actually is. I don't know if it is really worth the 1500 points but I did enjoy it. The demo for Pokemon Rumble is also currently #1 on the most popular WiiWare downloads on the WiiShop Channel.

that makes sense people may not download demos of games they already bought which makes their popularity less then rumble's since it just came out and no one has it if you get what I mean

I wasn't surprised at all by Pokemon Rumble's popularity. I totally expected it to do great. I just wasn't so sure if it would be a good game or not. After hearing not so good things about Pokemon Ranch you can't blame me for being skeptical. Also, I only downloaded the demo for Pokemon Rumble as I already own all the other games. It is good to see that the demos are doing well but I just hope that it translates into sales for those games as well.

Sorry about that Odnetnin. That comment wasn't directed at you. I know that you aren't blaming me. I posted this comment before I saw your response and I was just trying to explain why I said that I was surprised that Pokemon Rumble turned out to be good. I didn't want people thinking that I was a Pokemon hater or something. I actually do agree with you. I don't think that demos should be represented in the Top 20. However, I do believe that it is good that people are downloading these demos. Maybe now these games will get the exposure they deserve. Hopefully it will lead to more sales for those games and Nintendo will provide us with more demos for other games in the future.

IGN is one of those sites that doesn't realize that repetative gameplay isn't as bad in the beat-'em-up genre, especially when there's over 200 Pokémon, over 400 different attacks (which vary more that that video review claims), two attacks per Pokémon which vary heavily among even the same species, and progressively harder levels where you have to rely more and more on dodging enemy attacks.

By the way, Cheat Code Central gives it a 3.5/5 (or 7/10), although the tickets you get for releasing Pokémon aren't random like they think.

Why has no one mentioned EX-rank, I figured someone would have posted it by now (since November).

Well...I wish the EX-rank Battle Royales and stages were that simple (EX Battle Royal 3-1=pwned). You'll eventually face against enemies that are overpowered (1 hit KO's), some that need to be constantly attacked to prevent them from using their moves (as they can't be evaded on time), and weak enemy pokémon that severly hurt you when you beat them (Kricketot's "reprisal" attack).
