Topic: personal codes to play online

how do you find out what your code is to give to a friend to play online? does each game have a different code? is there a list of games that are available to play online?

as far as wii ware, i just have excitebike and family mini golf.
as far as the regular hard copy games, i think only mario kart is available to play online?? is the new super mario bros an online game?
are any VC games online enabled??

Each game has a unique Friend Code. Finding it varies per game, but most of the time it can be found by connecting the game online, and you'll be automatically issued it. Then it's just a case of finding it. It'll most likely be somewhere around your Friend Roster for that game.

Many Wii games can be played online (see the list above), Mario Kart Wii is one of them.

No, local multiplayer only.

"are any VC games online enabled??"
No Virtual Console games are Wi-Fi enabled, but several Wiiware and DSiWare titles have online multiplayer. I can't find a list of those games though, so you'll have to check the game's summary on the Wii Shop Channel or Nintendo DSi Shop to check its functionality. Look for this logo on games to confirm its Wi-Fi connectivity.

Unfortunatly each and every game seems to have a different friend code. Also games put it in different places but if you dig around enough you should find it.

For Excitebike go to "Nintendo WFC" then highlight "Race Friends" and push the A button. Your FC will be at the bottom of the window that pops up. If I remember right the Mario Kart FC is at the top of your user licence, haven't played family mini golf or new SMB so I can't help you there. As far as I'm aware no VC games have online.
