Gosh you guys are all so clean and noble. I dare say anyone who truly believed this WOULDN"T happen are the most naive of all, I'll bet a few of you have even had to fight the urge to get it yourself. What's a better time waster for the target gamer demographic than an easy, bad poker game who's only incentive to keep playing is a woman that will take off items of clothing with each progression, especially for 5 bucks; is there a reason NOT to get it? (ok, I didn't get it myself because it's true, the regular internet has much better time wasters in that vein that cost nothing, and I cherish my N-points). Any youngster, though, especially with any kind of restrictive parent bought this immediately. Any parent more restrictive than that who uses any parental lock features, probably just got it for themselves instead and keeps it on an SD. Who-ever said gameloft has sunk to a new low, has obviously never played any other Gameloft games before. Everyone of their other trashy leisure sports games is just like this, and obviously modeled after the stupid "neon, red light district" design of most porn sites, and they all feature levels introduced by trashy looking women and men and filled with sexual inuendo and half-assed gameplay thrown together based on other popular games. Obviously until now they didn't even try asking Nintendo if they would allow them to actually feature strip downs as incentives for gameplay, but whats that?.... Nintendo let them do it?! I'm still reeling that Nintendo let them release it for download. I think if it continues in this direction, fine, but Nintendo better be really careful about PR and a possibly harsh backlash, and create another section or channel or something if theres more like it. It's a slippery slope. All I'm saying is this isn't surprising and it's silly for us to take some moral high ground about the content, I'm only surprised at Nintendo for going there. I'd support this kind of stuff myself if there was at least a little more depth to the gameplay and more risque images. But then this isn't why I have a Nintendo, and I hope they don't allow it to continue very far.
Well, it just reached #1 here in Canada. Then again, given how liberal we all are here in the Great White North (rofl), that should come as no surprise.
Also, I gotta agree with Ren, you would have to be pretty naive to not expect this to shoot to the top of the charts.
