Guess what, guys. I got a new reply from someone else regarding the duplicate response I received!
"You're absolutely right--we goofed. I apologize on behalf of the previous responder and for the fact that the response used was out-of-date. At the time it was written, we were releasing about 10 VC titles per month, but with the advent of WiiWare, that monthly total has dropped.
The main thing to take away from the responses you received is that your feedback was heard and forwarded. The response will be updated to reflect our current release schedule."
Wow, so their responses will be changed thanks to me! Plus, they've forwarded my comments to the appropriate department. How nice.
It's about time Nintendo admitted they messed up! Could we actually recieve a good VC update tomorrow?
Yeah, I know! As if MS or Sony would admit to doing something like that and making steps to change it right away! I swear if we get SSB64 or another good game tomorrow, I'm gonna get the feeling that they actually listened!!

And what will you do if there is something to complain about?! Complain some more?! I bet anyone on stinking NintendoLife doesn't wants to do that tomarrow?!
I'm not sure emailing Nintendo is going to do one bit of good. They've stated that VC sales were way down and right now the WiiWare and DSiWare services are flourishing and I see no reason why they won't continue to focus on those services instead of the VC. In fact, if an email we received from a reader who emailed Nintendo about the lack of VC releases is in fact authentic, we might not be seeing many VC releases at all in the future, sadly.
Guys, note that it's the summer. Children, more notably the younger ones, are off school. Young children want new stuff, not old 8- and 16-bit stuff. The VC fire will start burning more in a few weeks time, just be patient.
If you want changes made, stop downloading Wii Ware and DSi ware games. Stand up to the tyranny, and take a stand.
I guess I will be buying 2 Nintendo Points Cards, then, since I want World of Goo and My Life as a Darkl__d... That would leave me with 1,500 points, and I already have plenty of Virtual Console ideas...
Remember, if you are boycotting WiiWare in order to support Virtual Console, buy Virtual Console games as well!
...never mind; I will also boycott WiiWare.
(By the way, was not the reason why Virtual Console releases scarace was to save some for the summer vacation?)
I told you guys that the VC sales were going down, just like Corbie said! All Nintendo cares about is the money when it comes to VC! It is just going to upset a lot of gamers who love the VC service. Soon, the Hombrew Channel will be on my Wii, and then I do not have to worry about the VC anymore.

I'm disappointed about this too, but I will never resort to hacking.

facpalm It's a freaking game service, not freaking England in the 1770s! Look I like playing retro games as much as the next guy, but really, Nintendo taking a break from releasing some old games on a service that has 309 titles for all of two weeks (so far) does not equal the oppression of a nation!
@KnucklesSonic8: I'm impressed with that reply you got, and look forward to seeing what the new form e-mail will be like. Shame that doesn't really help us get more releases, but it's still a small victory, in a weird way.
@Bass X0: But all the best game companies do stuff for the fans. They know how to treat us right, like Atlus! They realize that doing right by the customer is doing right by them, and I simply cannot understand why so many companies totally miss that obvious point nowadays!
My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P
