Topic: Nintendo channel error

Whenever I try to go on the Nintendo channel I get an error message saying something like 'Error code: 261410. Does anyone know what this means?

I know what you mean,it happened to me too. So sometimes I reset the wii and try again.

Does it normally work after you reset it?

I get an Error everytime I try to access the Check Mii Out channel these days. I was bored the other night and felt like clicking on it (hadn't been to this channel in at least a year and a half) and lo' and behold, it gave me an error and wouldn't load.

I deleted from my Wii's menu and redownloaded from the Wii Shop Channel....but got the same ending result when trying to access it.

is your wii clock off? put the the right day and time....then try going into the nintendo channel.

Lately, when I access the Nintendo Channel, the videos suffer from extreme buffering issues.

Same here. And it has always been that way (for us, at least), since day 1. We have a very good Internet connection (over 2 MBytes/sec). No problems with Netflix SD streaming on the Wii or Netflix HD streaming on our AppleTV. But the Nintendo Channel videos are completely hopeless, even on the lower quality setting. I just watch them all on YouTube instead.

And now all is lost. Nintendo Week is dead!
