Pikmin 2 had a MUCH uglier box. At least...the copies I've seen did. They made a much nicer box in Europe and supposedly parts of America, but I've never seen one. Digression...
I don't care what the box looks like as long as NPC Pikmin 2 is out by the time I return to the States...or not...i'll have such a backlog and no money until I get a new job...
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery
Oh, right, I forgot that question. I didn't sell Resort. I gave it to my little brother. He actually doesn't play it much either, but I don't want to get rid of my M+, just in case. Given Nintendo's track record with accessories, chances are they'll never use the darn thing again but for one or two games, but I'll play it safe.
It's hard to say what my norm is for retail games because I usually just don't bother. My town Blockbuster doesn't get much that I'm interested in. Still never got the chance to rent Conduit, and they didn't get Muramasa either. I try to avoid buying games I think I'll end up trading in or reselling, so I either rent or just don't play (sorry, Excite Bots, I want to play you, I really do). There hasn't been much I've been interested in lately on the Wii front, so it hasn't been an issue.
I have more than I could ever need downloaded to my Wii and PS3 already. Demons Souls tomorrow (yay!) and NSMB not long from now. I can't afford to look forward to much else, anyway. I always thought video games were grossly overpriced, which is why I like these downloadable games like Bit Trip.
I do not buy many games either, but at the same time I do not feel they are overpriced. I mean Excitebots is $40 new, that aint bad there....
However I never rent, I would rather buy and re-sell. If you rent a game and love it, well at least you have your save file, but there is $5 gone....
See and I 'got you' - now you cannot claim Brawl is the only wii disc game you have because - you did not really part with Resprt. Apparently you did not recieve any compensation for it! Plus you kept your dongle....for Zelda, I suppose?? (goofy face emo goes here)

It is the only disc I have. I gave it away. Whether I receive money for it or not, it is no longer under the same roof as my Wii.
Excite Bots is still a hard sell for me. It looks very cool and all, but you only need so many racing games, and with the prospect of Super Mario Kart on VC for much cheaper, I can't bring myself to care too much. Also, while I loved Excite Trucks, it's one of those games that's unfortunately difficult for people not used to handling, so I could never enjoy it multiplayer since no one else I knew owned it to practice on, leaving all our races to be basically decided before they began.
Lack of four-player is lamentable, too. N64 and GCN have brought me to expect split-screen from Nintendo, so it's disappointing that we're moving backward now. The "Fun Machine" prided itself on the four controller ports almost as much as the 3D graphics.
But the main reason I abstain from EB is that I have enough racer already. When I buy a bunch of games in the same genre, I end up just sticking to one and forgetting the rest.
Well most Wii games have 4 player support, so lets not pretend this is a huge shift in Nintendo philosphy, my good man.
Excite only has 2 local, true, without bots, worse, but it does have 6 person online, and a great, fast online system. (and Great! single player!)
To each their own - I pine neither for the N64 or SMk, let them rest in piece, for Wii and MKWii are much, much better. Excitebots is a far greater value at $40 that SMK (potentially) would be at $8....imho.
I cannot imagine the modern gaming house of horrors it would take this halloween to make me seek the 'warm breast' of Mode 7 or 30 fps 3-d graphics with turd textures....
