Looks good. I'm not sold on the environments yet though. I wish they had classic themes like Adventure. :/

Finally, another game this console generation with color! In fact, the word "color" is in the title! I'm looking forward to November 16, now (the day both versions of the game come out in North America)! The hard part is choosing the Wii or DS version....

Isn't it a 2D game with some 3D mixed in?

I'm definately getting the Wii version. The graphis look amazing, dare I say it, even Super Mario Galaxy-esqe.

Well I think Sonic 4 is more for the old school 2d Sonic fans, whereas Sonic Colours is for the newer generation of fans, those who like 'The Secret Rings' and such...

Though I guees you're right in a way because it's also been described as Sonic Unleashed without the night bits. So yeah I guess that means it will be just like daytime sonic unleashed, which was, as you said "2d with some 3d mixed in". Either way, it looks great!

Yeah that's one thing that's bothering me, actually. Unleashed had a lot of awesome 3D sections, and this game looks like it spends a lot more time in 2D. The 2D parts of Unleashed were okay - the 3D was where it really shined.

Colours is the big deal not Sonic 4, they've said as much. They have both the Unleashed HD team and the Storybook team working on it and it actually looks....pretty good!

O. M. G. This just got bumped up to a must-buy.

I'm still not sold on the Wii version.

hmm i dont know bout platformer games lately... Ive beaten SMG, SONIC unleashed and new super mario bros wii all in under 17hrs... i need one that is either difficult or has an extensive amount of gameplay.

Also i guess you guys already know this (but i didnt) Those colour things are power ups like SMG2 the yellow one is a drill power up as you see in the trailer here.

I was not planing to get these game, but the video has changed my mind! Anyways I will wait for the review!

I don't blame you. I know we have all been let down by Sonic games, because they "looked" great. However, I think this one really may be decent, but nothing I will pre-order; need to wait on some reviews.
