@BassX0: Nah I don't think so. They're both Import titles so they came out at the same time. There's no reason to suggest this was the game they were gonna choose to be released next week.

@LuigiandYoshiFan: I had hoped the same thing when I first found out.

@Tony: Actually, to be honest, I'm tempted to write a letter to Nintendo myself via email. Maybe one of us should.

I did send them an email. It probably won't do anything, but maybe it will remind them that there are lots of VC fans out there who look forward to what is coming around on Mondays. Maybe one day Nintendo will balance out the weekly lineup so were not getting dumped with Wii Ware games and have a better selection.

So, what'd ya say? Got a copy of it? Maybe I can send them an email as well to help drive the point hope.

Cheezy

So in two weeks it should finally be Kubos since it seems for the past few an Art Style has come out every two weeks

Whoops sorry I KnucklesSonic8 I meant to paste this on my last post. It would not hurt if you wanted to send them a reminder. Anyway the letter I emailed them is below.

I am little disappointed to not see the Virtual Console included in the Nintendo download this week. I hope Nintendo decides to continue strong support for its classic gaming service, but it seems as if its becoming less and less.

My message:
"I was really disappointed to not see a Virtual Console game appear at all in the update. Was there a particular reason why there was no VC game included? It's very frustrating since there are many games we're waiting for like Super Smash Bros. 64 that have been confirmed and instead of releasing one of these games, there's no game at all. I was very shocked to see this. Many love the Virtual Console service but lately, support has been waning a bit considering that there have been some shoddy games released and having only one VC Game per update (as opposed to the days when there were 2 or even 4 per update!) is very silly and it makes the updates that much harder to deal with as many await the games they're so desperately waiting for.

Anyway, I just thought I'd express myself about this because having one VC game per update is a big issue right now for many but having no VC game at all today is simply unacceptable."

Hopefully more people will send little reminders to NOA.....apparently we are meant to believe that only 5 arcade games exist and they are all on the Virtual console already.

I think i'm gonna send Nintendo an email too! Mabey if enough people on NL barrage them with emails/complaints, they'll actually do something about it.

My response from Nintendo about our VC-less week.

Hello Tony,
We appreciate your comments concerning the recent number of Virtual Console games that have been released. Please keep in mind that there are various factors involved with releasing older game titles on the Wii’s Virtual Console. We average about 10 new Virtual Console titles per month, which means that some months will see more than 10 new releases and others less than 10 new releases. I will, however, be sure to share your feedback regarding this issue to the appropriate personnel for further review.

Sincerely,

Alain Dao

@Tony: Yep, that confirms it. It's the exact same response as mine I posted in the other thread.

Thanks for that list, Charlie the Unicorn!

Hm, I actually got a different response. I can't copy and paste it word for word because i'm on the Wii right now but in short it said: We appreciate you sharing your extensive comments on Virtual Console, Wiiware, and DSiWare releases. Rest assured that your email will be sent for further review. Something like that. It doesnt hold much promise in my opinion but who knows?
