Oh, I could name so many. RRR TV Party's multiplayer focus is stronger than RRR's ultra-strong single-player focus. Boom Blox comes to mind as well. WarioWare is a must. Hopefully I can think of more for you.
What WiiWare games do you have, specifically as far as multiplayer is concerned?
Oh I forgot BoomBlox, I do have that (the first one, that is.) Multiplayer WW-wise I have Wild West Guns, Alien Crush Returns, Magentica Twist, Bit trip beat, and probably others. I hope to get Darklord and NyxQuest soon.

I'm not in a situation where I need to worry about it, but having it get stolen actually hadn't occurred to me. Huh...
Anyway, my paranoia if I were in that situation would be that someone might pull a prank with the parental controls so it won't let you play anything above an E rating. I would just go ahead and set a password myself ahead of time so nobody else can tinker with it.
Wow, that would be annoying. However, what would be the point if I play M games, to set a PC that allows me to play any game (there won't be AO games on Wii) would the settings even allow that?

lol, thats pretty awesome...although that might have been excessive force. Fun fact: I do, in fact, own a samurai sword (440 sharpened steel) although for obvious reasons its at home, not in my dorm room.

First of all, glad to see you're adjusting to college life well thus far. With regards to your Wii, take some precautionary measures, O_B. Take pictures of everything Wii-related, including what's on your SD Card Menu. Also be sure to backup your save files on the SD Card and take it out of the Wii whenever you're not using it.
To be honest, I'm not sure if I'd reecommend dishing out your Wii until you observe the general behaviour of your roommate and test out his honest practices with other possessions you may have. Also be sure to see what possessions he has. It would be safe practice to hide it if at all possible. Also, why not set up Parental Controls on your system for the Wii Shop so he doesn't "accidentally" spend your Wii Points.
Why you sound like a great, trusting person people would be willing to room with.
Seriously, people, if you can't even trust your roommate enough to not lock up everything valuable when you're not around, how on Earth do you manage to go to sleep 2 meters away from the guy at night without fearing for your life/virginity? Not to mention doing so sends really bad signals, as your essentially telling the guy straight to his face that you neither trust nor like him and don't want him anywhere near you.
In short, yes, your Wii will be safe, and if you're even thinking it won't, you should probably get a solo room, as you're obviously incapable of living together with other people.
remember adamant, that just because you feel you can trust one's roommate doesn't mean you trust everyone they might bring in. Also, I don't worry about my roomste killing me in my sleep because that's impractical. However, people are much more likely to steal, especially when they think they'll get away with it.

Adamant, you clearly have had some bad experience in the past and I'm not getting into it. The only thing I occasionally lock up is my Wii, again, because I don't feel like I can trust some of the people on my floor, not my roommate. There are reasons why I don't trust these people, I'm not just being paranoid. Please refrain from insulting me for being cautious.

Well, a lot of the guys here are right: you do need to trust the person you are living with- which can be hard at first. I'd certainly think it wise to lock your stuff up in your room (just say you're paranoid that someone would break in; locking things up inside the room means they're even less likely to be stolen.
See, I'm quite lucky in the respect that the people I live with are all decent. One I have known 18 years, the other is a good friend of his, and the final one (well, was) is a random guy from Ireland who likes rugby, so it's all pretty damn sweet in this house. I'd say the biggest worry is friends of friends; I still hate it when people I don't know are around my house when I am not.

That's exactly my point. Cept I'm in a dorm room.
