Topic: My Sims Sky Heroes

Any one played it yet?

I want to. 6 player online? Heck yeah. I'm sure IGN will have a review soon, since they've been covering the game for awhile.

It has potential to be great. I also got a good laugh out of the Dead Space commercial of this.

You know, this one snuck up on me (I tend to ignore big-name franchises), but I'm interested in it a little bit, especially if it's like if Island Flyover in Wii Sports Resort had a dogfight mode.

These My Sim spin-offs are getting weirder and weirder. O_o

I was going to start a thread on this myself. Its out already and hardly anyone has reviewed it! Just one reviewer Nintendo Power giving it a creditable 75. The latest ONM didn't have it in either. I'd like to read some impressions as its on my radar pending review!

This is what I want to know, my Dad loved playing that.

Anyone want to know what the review says exactly? I can take a pic of it. Let me know.
Also, something to note... seems like some conflicting stuff in that review. From the very beginning, I understood that this was online (for Wii too), but NP made this statement:

"It's a fun multiplayer title that would have been even better with online play."

Hmmm...

I'd heard that only the PS3 and 360 versions had online but yeh.... the boxart contradicts that.

I'm kinda ticked that PS3 and 360 get 10 person multiplayer, but Wii only gets 6...

I'd appreciate it if you did let us know what the revw says. I'm particularly interested if it has a control mechanism similar to the wiisports resort airplane games. I have a feeling it doesn't as its multi-platform. Thanks.

So I guess no online play for the Wii?

More revws have come out now and it has a metacritic rating of 69. It seems to read like a 7/10 game really. Not 100% clear if the control scheme has an option ro control the plane wii sports resorts airplane style. I think you have to use nunchuck as well.

Hmmm... MySims? That game where you're on an island and you have to cheer everyone up and make it more awesome, and you can design furniture and clothes? Or the one where you're the mayor of the city and you make the buildings youself? Or the one where you play minigames with other MySims characters? Or the one where you race other MySims characters in gokarts? Or the one where you're a MySims secret agent? Or the one where you're a king and you design and rule your own kingdom? Or the one where vegetable zombies come to the town from a UFO and you and other MySims characters have to stop them from making educatonal TV shows? Wait, did you say MySims, or just the regular Sims? Oh, yeah, MySims, got it.
So, none of those? Oh, in this one do you ride ponies and make mobile phones? No? That's too bad, I would have loved to buy that. Maybe next time.
