Topic: My Life as a Darklord first Impressions.

Anybody bought this game yet and can tell some first impressions?

@Blaze- How many chapters does the game have? How many levels does each chapter have? Sorry, this will be my first FF game and I'm a noob on it.

I'm nearly halfway through Chapter 3, enjoying it quite a bit so far. Pretty difficult and deep.

But how many chapters does it have? Do you have a clue or something?

Ok so I bought and I'm almost clearing Chapter 1 and this is really fun! I'll post a review on my site later today!

I expected so much more.. its just a glorified tower defence game, i'm sorely dissapointed

Nobody said it was ever going to be more than a tower defence game. The pictures of the game scream out that its a tower defense game. If you expected more then you only have yourself to blame for making a completely uninformed decision about what you download.

As for me, I've never played a tower defense game (I don't think Crystal Defenders really counts) before so I am quite enjoying this.

no i dont think so, this is supposed to be a sequal to a very deep town management game. I expected the same level of depth in this game... dont get me wrong its not terrible, I'll still play it, but i really expected something more on par with FFCC: My life as a king.

You have to complete the third chapter for one and the whole game for the other. Besides, the extra chapters aren't out yet. Out of all the DLC available, there's only two packs available right now - the Armoury and an NP+ for a total of 600 WiiPoints.

Yes, this is far from being as great as MLAAK but its good on its own. You should have known that Darklord would be something completely different.

And Darklord is a game from the Defense Strategy genre just like both Crystal Defenders.

I thought DARKLORD would be similar to KING too until we started actually hearing information about the game. Then we all realised that although DARKLORD is a sequel, it plays nothing like KING. "MY LIFE AS A..." isn't a town management series - I'd expect KING 2 if they ever made one to be very similar to the first one but with DARKLORD they didn't have to keep the town managment aspect from KING. And I'm quite thankful they didn't either. I'm having fun with DARKLORD. Although I would still like a KING 2 one day.

aaactually, the truth is.. when it was first announced the first thought that came to my mind was DUNGEON KEEPER... so i was dissapointed with the actual result... but having played it, its not bad, i'll just have to keep waiting for dungeon 3 to never come out

So, who got the downloadable levels? Or are these not available yet?

Actually, I gave the DLC a chance yesterday. The online instructions say that only two things are downloadable so knowing that I wanted to see what would happen if I tried to download the Kain pack. And it worked. Nothing seems to be locked, I had no problems getting what I wanted from the DLC list despite it not supposed to be active yet.

It doesent seem we NA dont got more then a couple of items...

All that DLC everybody is worried about...Surprise! It's not available!

Two items -
Darklord Armory - 400 points
Vile Ribbon - 200 points

That's all we got so far!

Side-note: Man, the channel block for this game is so girly.
