There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

To be honest I've tried both methods and haven't noticed any difference.

I'm having the same problems as you are, and it definitely is frustrating. The motionplus worked perfectly at first, for the first 3-4 days (we'd play maybe an hour per day). Suddenly this morning, however, the racket of any player I choose is on one side or the other regardless of whether I rest it or not or no matter how I hold it. I thought it might be due to worn out batteries so I changed them and still have the problem.

We were going to buy a second one so we could have matches but now are unsure. Spastic tennis motions are not what we signed up for, but it's now all we're getting. Has anyone got any advice other than calibrating it, which isn't working, or the "it must be you doing something wrong because the reviews are 90%" comments?

Desync of WM+ happens to me quite frequently in GST. When this happens it is quite evident, as the raquet vibrates and doesnt follow my hand's movements. When this happen what I do is to pause the game and put the wiimote upside down in the floor for 2 or 3 secs, and problem gone (until next desync). This problem is much better handled in WSR: first, each time the wiimote connection is lost the game itself forces you to recalibrate it, second, if you find it is out of sync while playing a game, you only need to point with the wiimote directly to the sensor bar and press the crossair.

BTW, in GST left side of the wiimote is the up side of the raquet, right side of the wiimote is the down side of the raquet, so the second picture shows better how to hold with wiimote.

I agree with Corbie if you can't duck it buck it. Sounds like you need a new Wiiimote. You said the rumble doesn't even work, time to get a new one. Well good luck with that.

Same problem here!!!

I'm straight up pissed - I spent the money to get the motion plus, I spent the money for rackets that will accomidate motion plus add on and now the game is UNPLAYABLE.

Without motion plus I can't lose a game - with M+ my character often simply does not turn to the direction I'm turning - worse yet, my character sometimes swings prematurely as I'm taking the racket back to prepare for a swing.

PS. I'm a high level tennis player - use full stroke, full shoulder rotations and return to nuetral stance after every shot. 1-to-1 BS

I've looked at this video by EA themselves

Look at 1:25 - his character suddenly turns left without him making any motion at all.

Ok now I was able to play fine - by playing like a spastic retard with half a stroke.

if I made a real tennis swing the game had no idea whats going on. I serve 100 mph average in real life barely served 80 in-game.

  • waste of money if you think this game can resamble the real thing in ANY capacity.

It's hard to believe it was possible but they managed to over-hype the Motion+ as much as they over-hyped the original motion control (before the Wii was released). Congrats to them. I guess.

Put your analyst on danger money, baby.
