Topic: Metroid Prime Trilogy

Was going to wait until next year to start buying Wii games in wait for the Wii U. But I noticed that this Game goes used for $70.00. So Was the release really that limited. (I remember seeing this used for around $30). Also Would it be worth it nowto pick it up even though I won't play it until next september to November.

Well, at least here in Finland you can easily find MPT. I bought it new for 30€ ($42.48) maybe a year ago. The Trilogy is totally worth it but I don't know if you should buy it now or later.

IMO it's totally worth it for $70, but I have no idea what kind of deal you'll find if you decide to wait.

I would hate to spend THAT much money on it...but go for it anyways. You're basically getting 3 games in one...3 awesome games too.

Its $140 new. Guess im going to pull the Trigger After ME3. Also we need a metriod thread in retro.

Got it new for 60 $ on ebay. So worth it. XD

Let me put it this way...it was worth $50 new, definitely.

Metroid Prime is one of the best video games ever made. The other two games are also great. Get it at the cheapest price you can of course but you must get it if you've never played these games before.

At $54 new (with tax included), it's definitely worth it. I would not put down more than that though despite how great the trilogy is overall.

Target had MPT on sale for $29 the following Christmas after release. So I got it for Christmas. What a steal it was.

It's not in production any more, so whatever new copies you find will be EXTREMELY rare.

i got one for 8.95 used from a small shop, it was in perfect condition to, swear nobody opened it. that was just last week to

get it now before it gets more expensive..

Would you guys say this collection is worth $80? I'd love to get into the Metroid Prime series and I've never had the chance.

P.S. The price for a new copy is around $140 on Amazon now. O_o

If you have the 80 bucks to spend and want to get it, then yes it's worth it. Keep in mind all three of those games were 49.99 when they first came out, so while 80 bucks sounds like a lot it's still a good deal.

If I were you, I'd just buy the trilogy separately. Sure, you'll be missing out on the amazing Wii contols for Prime 1 & 2, but it would only cost you $24.

Unopened copies are selling for $95 on eBay, Buy it Now. Sheesh, and to think I got mine at Best Buy marked down to $19.99. I should have bought the whole rack of them.
