Yes, I have got it. I love it. I talk about how much I love it so much I'm in danger of running out of the letters L, K and S. And O and A, because it makes you say oooooooo and aaaaaaaahh a lot. Like a fireworks display, only with more skull-headed cows.
Hi toby, i completed it a few days ago, and am struggling to fill the gaping hole it left behind. A beautiful game, with oodles of charm and character, and a masterful difficulty curve. I haven't played a game that totally consumed me for some time, but this did it in the opening cut-scene. Enjoy it my friend, I mean, KING!
Quite possibly my favorite game on the wii so far, maybe a bit short on replay value once completed though, but since it was so fun its really a minor complaint.
@Blaze Kind of agree (kind of) but it took me 70hrs to finish (not including re-loads), admittedly I could have done it in 50, but then It could take some 90+. Awesome value and I'll defo go back to Alpoko someday.
Anyone who has played, is playing, or is looking forward to Little King's Story, should check out this interview with Yoshiro Kimura, tis a really good read.
Thanks for the link to that interview, Machu - it reaffirmed my love for the masterpiece that is Little King's Story! I may well open up my old review and increase its rating to a 10/10 having read it... and maybe I'll finally get around to finishing it soon. I'd like to complete it before I embark on my own journey for world domination
I will also email Mr Kimura to let him know what a fantastic game he and his team created. I hope that will make him happy
He poured his heart into every character and I felt the results, did you see the random pipe-smoker, or the couple having a picnic, or one of the guards pushing over a lil child?
I love seeing the guards fight the carefree citizens, and the hunters having a little target practice outside the hut. I also liked watching everyone sweat buckets as they obeyed my athletic edicts, all the time telling me how much they hated them!
Have you emailed Mr Kimura to tell him what a fantastic game he created?
I always got back to the castle far too late in the evening, having got carried away forging new ground, only to watch my soldiers trudge home sighing the whole way (and I always felt guilty and would let them have a lie-in the next day).
Yeah, after I spent a few early mornings exploring the world I too set the alarm clock a little later and took my second-choice squad with me into the wild. The things that game made us do
Nothing wrong with missing it though - I don't know if I'd ever go back to play it after completion even though I absolutely, completely adore it. Then again, I'd never sell it. Decisions decisions...
God, I can't wait for this game to come out! I'm in the US, so the wait has been unbearable! Thankfully there is only two more weeks to go until the release date! Then I can finally see what Prosody has been going on about!
EDIT: You too Machu! Both you and Prosody have done an excellent job bringing attention to this game! Well done gentlemen!

Yeah, some of mine and Machu's conversations here might make a bit more sense when you've got the game in your hands! You'll love it - have you pre-ordered to get one of those cute little Onii? I'd love one! HINT HINT
