This is the best 3rd party game on the Wii (along with Little King's Story). Anyone who doesn't own and cherish it is a fool. That's all that needs to be said on the matter.
It's not 3rd Party, it's Nintendo Published.
What?! The developer is the significant factor, not the publisher.
Huh, didn't know that. Turns out Second parties have to be bound by something, such as a contract or partial ownership, but Treasure has none of that. So I guess it is a third-party game, as is Goldeneye 007(Wii). I think Sin & Punishment is a Nintendo property, though, but I can't find anything confirming it one way or another.
A first party game is one published by the company that owns the console, in this case, Nintendo. So S&P is a First Party game.

It's a Nintendo console, so regardless of the developer, a title published by Nintendo is a first-party title. It's developed by a third-party developer, yes, but a first-party title because it's published by Nintendo.
Dude who cares, it is made by a 3rd party and it is awesome.

But it's not a first party game, and therefore the spot for best Third Party game is still open.:3
So, what is everybody's controller of choice for this game? Mine is the Wiimote and Nunchuck. I tried playing with the CC just for the heck of it one time, and it was waay too slow for me.
