Topic: I'm Curious about Contra

We have quite a few Contra games on the virtual console, So were is the arcade original

best contras to date in my opinion are still contra 3 (SNES) and contra: hard corps for the genesis.
So who needs an arcade version ? oO

Contra 3 is all you need.

My opinion the original arcade one is the best one I'm just wondering whats taking Konami so long to put this one out, its not like they have to go though license ing issues like thet would with TMNT

Well if thats the case why dont you try contacting Konami if anyone would know it will be them.

The arcade original is on XBLA. It's possible Microsoft got some kind of exclusivity for the game. But then again, Konami hasn't supported the VC in years, so the odds of us getting it don't look too good. Maybe for Wii U...

You can probably just email them and ask them why they dont have the Arcade version on Wii.

The only Contra I care about is the original NES version. My siblings and cousins and I all loved that game. Good memories. I never spent much time around any arcades honestly. They started to die out too soon. From what I've seen of the arcade version...I still prefer the NES version.
