The greed people have. We get a new 2D Mario, a 3D Mario, a new Zelda announced, a new Metroid game, and a bounty of new releaces, and people still say last year's E3 was terrible?
I found it extremely retarded when everyone was whining about how Nintendo had to "redeem themselves" for the E3 back in 2008. Really, that was just stupid... I happened to enjoy that year very much (especially when Punch Out!! was announced).

In comparison to the E3 they had for 2006, yes. By far. It will be very hard to beat that show.

this year will see Zelda, Pikmin 3, Nintendo 3DS, Vitality Sensor games, and some surprises... looks good to me.

Meh, Nintendo stopped being an interesting developer a few years ago. Handing off Star Fox and F zero to high level third parties would definitely be something of great interest.
I know you specified "high level," but I should still mention that neither franchise has the greatest third-party history. At least Star Fox doesn't. I'm not a fan of F-Zero GX, though I'm probably in the minority there. I'd like to see Retro (who got their start working on a never-to-be-finished racing game, I believe) or the Excite guys handle it. Retro could probably handle Star Fox, as well.
Nintendo's last year's E3 show was a disappointment apparently, lol.
Oh boohoo, the hardcore gamers are sad
Oh you're so tough taunting an ill-defined group of people online.
Aside from NSMBW, it would have been disappointing to me, too, if I hadn't long since stopped caring about Nintendo's E3 conference. The only other exciting moment was when I thought the Golden Sun announcement was going to be Mother 3.
To be honest, Nintendo already won the E3 of 2010. Why? Because even if Nintendo doesn't show a darn thing besides the 3DS, the casual crowd will go crazy over the new hardware and it will sell thousands if not millions. Nintendo doesn't even need to try to technically "Win" E3 anymore.

Even though Star Fox was started by a third party developer
Current games: Everything on Switch

It wasn't started by a third-party. It was Miyamoto's concept, and Nintendo co-developed it. I think the third party was just for programming, which isn't that unusual.
The idea of somebody Winning E3 was probably a poor place for them to start. The article wasn't all bad, almost like the forum here about Nintendo and this year's E3.
For Me I would love to see Nintendo actually do something useful (and don't forget fun) with the vitality sensor as well as showing off some game that lets you dual-wield two Nintendo Wii remotes (like how Sony's Move has been showing a lot of).
@Stuffed - I'm stil hoping the dual-wield WM+ will be in Force Unleashed II... Lucasarts can show that.
