It's an absolute ******* monster! The first two stages didn't give me much trouble but stage 3 is a damn slaughterhouse compared to what it was on the Normal difficulty. Those red skeltons that don't die are everywhere. I think I spent an hour trying the 3rd stage yesterday. I can' even imagine what stages 4 and 5 are like. Anybody beat this game on Hard?
Stage 3 Hard has kept me stuck too. That hallway in the second quarter of the stage with all the red skeletons, and bone pillars usually hurts me too much for me to make it past there.
I've made it past there with one life once, but I didn't go far. (By past there, I mean I made it to the next checkpoint, rather than the next room.
I keep forgetting to switch to easy mode (I'm not a wimp, I just wanted to breeze through and save the harder stuff for later!) so I end up playing the game on normal...and it's pretty darned hard at that level!
I love it though. It just might be my favorite WiiWare game overall...certainly in the top 3. Anyone who hasn't picked it up is missing out...I think it's excellent, and a whole lot of fun. It's not often that a game can keep me entertained while frustrating the **** out of me, but this one does it.
I made it to level 5 yesterday, and it'll probably be next weekend before I get the chance to play it again, but holy hell is this a great game.
