Topic: Game Boy VC emulation at all possible on DSi?

I'm sure the thought of having Game Boy classics on a DSi Ware VC has at least crossed Nintendo's mind at some point. But since the company has so far made no announcement on it, could it just be a matter of time before it happens or is it too costly or impossible to emulate Game Boy titles properly for a DSi VC?

There is probably a way. If you can put the data onto an SD card and insert that to your DSi. There is, more than likely, sites to download this data from just that it may not work with the DSi firmware. Even if it did you'd probably have the problem that the firmware is upgradeable so if Nintendo get whiff of this they'll probably move to block it.

I know it's very vague but I hope this info helps

There probably won't be a Virtual Handheld until Nin's next handheld.

I hope they do it. I personally think it will work a lot better on the DSi XL, the DSi's screens are too small in my opinion.

It's possible, my homebrew loader can do it so I assume Nintendo can too.

NOW FOR A RANDOM SKIT:

Kid: Hey Nintendo? How many bits are in the DS?
Representative: Uh... 8.
Kid: The DS does not 8 bits. Those kinds of things don't even exist.
Representative: What's a DS?
Kid: Are you kidding me?
Representative: Do you mean Game and Watch?
Kid: You must be joking. I'm trying to emulate an N64 game with my R4i and it won't work.
Representative: There's a Nintendo 64 now?
Kid: Yeah, that was the earliest Nintendo console.
Representative: Really? They must have decided to downgrade 20 years ago.
Kid: 20 years ago? What do you have Dementia or something grandpa? The N64 was invented in 1996!
Representative: Haven't you ever heard of the NES?
Kid: That's just a myth.
Representative: NO!!! The NES was invented way back in 1983, it was an old 8-bit system.
Kid: I didn't know the years went back THAT far.
Representative: ...

The moral of this story: If you're a little kid, don't call Nintendo asking why your R4i can't emulate N64 games or some weird guy will give you a talk about something you would rather have been oblivious to forever. The End.
