Nintendo seems to have stopped releasing or announcing more Gamecube games for the Wii and Pikmin 2 doesn't seem to be coming to NA. Anyone else agrees that Nintendo seems to have abandoned the series much like the Classic NES series on GBA?
Classic NES series was the biggest ripoff ever. Animal Crossing costed twenty dollars used at the time and you could use cheats to get Donkey Kong, which is a twenty dollar Classic NES series game.

The less of this the better.
Some of them where that way. Others, like Super Mario Bros and a few others were worth getting at the time. I was disappointed that most of the Classic NES series games were only released in Japan. Honestly, the $20 price tag on those games, I think was quite reasonable. I mean, they were cheaper than the typical $30-$40 GBA games. Also, they were cheaper than their NES counterparts when they were released! You think the Classic NES series is a ripoff? Just think, you would have had to pay $40-$50 for the NES version of Donkey Kong in the 1980's!
But now that the games are on the VC, the Classic NES series is no longer necessary.
