Near End-Game Spoilers ahead...

I'm near the end of the game right now, and according to some FAQs I'm 20 levels under... lol. (Cecil is level 42) I just beat the Four Fiends (elements) and the CPU, and I got the Crystal Palace on the Moon ahead of me now. Does anyone know of any good places to grind? I'd like to at least push my level up by about 10. I googled around and there are some tricks for the DS version, but they don't seem to exist in the original.

Also, I see the Bahamut summon is mentioned a lot in the FAQs, but I haven't got it yet. Would getting that for Rydia push my level up a good bit?

edited thread title so it can be for FF2/4 help in general. :3

I find FFII/IV easy enough without grinding if you do all the side quests. So yes getting Bahamut will boost your levels, as will doing the Sylph cave and Summons cave if you haven't done those yet. Also getting all the weapons in the Crystal Palace.

I loaded up my last save on my original FFII SNES cart before the final boss battle and my levels were Cecil 52, Rydia 50, Edge 52, Rosa 52, and Kain 55. As for places to grind I never really grinded before but I would say either just outside of Eblan (? spelling) castle for easy battles that give decent exp. Or just go to the entrance of the Crystal Palace since it has both a healing and MP pad that you can use to heal without having to waste MP or items.

Sounds good, I'll knock out the rest of the side quests I have left. Nice to know I don't have to grind up to level 60, haha. Thanks man. :3
