Sonic 2 for sure. After that, the series started to go in decline. That's not to say Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles and Sonic CD are bad games by any means. But 2 was the high point for the series IMO.
Still can't get into the 3D Sonic's. They need to stop rushing them out and take the time to craft a great game. Maybe then Sonic could finally successfully move into 3D like Mario has.
Very, very true. While I like the 3D games, I'll admit, they're really bogged down by bugs and other flaws that really could've been taken out if the developers weren't so rushed.
btw sonic adventure 2 battle was my favorite 3D sonic and is third place why is it bashed by reviewers when secret rings is praised? that game is garbage imo
well i haven't played all the sonic games only Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic Rush and Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games so i can't really say which one's my favorite but so far Sonic Rush do to it remind me of how awesome New Super Mario Bros concept was back before it released in may 2006.
I like all the Mega Drive ones but at the moment my fave is the first one. I like it because there's no Super Sonic. Super Sonic is easy to get too early in the later ones and so it makes them a little easier. Sonic CD is awesome too.
