Nintendo's secret game has been revealed! It is a new Exciteb... This is a must-buy game for me!

The Nintendo Channel has been updated, and Nintendo Week has a gameplay trailer and stuff. It looks all right, but I never played the original, so i dunno what to expect, really. I'll probably wait to see what kind of reviews it gets first. :3

Well, it's not what I'd hoped, but I'm still really pleased to see it. They best release Excitebike 64 on the VC to coincide. That'd be perfect.

i never liked the nes game so this means nothing to me and sorta a disappointment

I'm impressed... Never hoped to be an announcement like this... Looks cool, anyway.

To me, this is great news (even though I had to watch those two cheesers for 30 seconds), but to others, this will be a bit of an anti-climax. Yikes!

Not as cool of an announcement as I thought it would be but it's nice to see Nintendo put their big franchises on WiiWare, now if only they would ADVERTISE IT to get more people on their damn online system.

Yay/no! When I saw the topic title I was hoping for an Excitebike 64 remake, but... I don't know. This looks kinda cool, but at the same time the gameplay doesn't look too hot.

Where are all the wipeouts in that footage?

Its like a direct sequel to the original nes excitebike. Or at least a nice remake. Its gonna have a track editor (like the original- though in the original you couldn't save) and online multiplayer. Plus you can choose motion or classic controls.

Looks like it will kinda be like the punch out update in that it should play faithfully to the original instead of being fully modern in a 3d world like the other excite games.

I'd really like to see the ability to share levels in this. Maybe expecting a bit much for a wiiware game but that would be an awesome feature.

Anyway, I'm in the "anticlimax" group on this announcement. I was hoping for Kid Icarus or StarTropics. Sigh

This is cool, but I wonder how many points it will be?

I have fond memories of Excitebike on the NES. And even though is not what I was hoping for I'll definitely buy it ^_
