Topic: Does anyone here still use the Wii internet channel?

I used it once, just to try it. Didn't like it. I use my laptop or the itouch

I dont. I downloaded it when my wifes Laptop got a bad virus and was in the shop for a few days that way she still could check her email and such but that was nearly 2 years ago lol. Its too awkward to use with the Wii remote and the pages took forever to load. I guess if I didnt have 3 desktops, 2 laptops, and two smartphones in the house than I would use it to get onto the internet.

I use it constantly. I love browsing the internet from the couch. Of course some pages are more Wii friendly than others, you can chalk that up to excessive banners, and flash. I've been complaining about 'busy' pages for years now.

Anyhoo, a little patience goes a long way. My Wii browsing is 'recreational', I do the important stuff from my PC.

Speaking of patience and the web, does anyone remember browsing with the Dreamcast? ( Gord, I miss that system. ) I remember waiting for pictures to load on that thing, yet using the living daylights out of it. Sites were so much less busy back then, too. Ah, the nights I spent looking at por... er, pork chops.

Rarely use it. I use a PC and my DSi.

yes because i like to use it on the wii and my computer isnt working and i cant use it on my dsi or my ipodtouch
