Topic: Does anyone here still use the Wii internet channel?

I use it when the computer is occupied but that's about it. The internet channel is still pretty lame when compared to a real computer. Several websites including this one seem to load at a snails pace on the Wii and the flash player is pathetic. I'm surprised it can even run youtube. I'm tempted to delete the channel and just stick with the computer.

I wanna delete it, but our computer shuts down when you try to watch a video, so until we get a new computer, I'm pretty much stuck with it.

I used to, especially when my computer was down. But I have a laptop now, so I deleted my Internet Channel so my Wii can have more space for game saves :3

It's actually pretty decent, for 500 Wii points, and a free NES game if you actually paid for it before it went to being free. AMERICAN NES GAME GET!

If you had gotten it when it was still 500, you wouldn't really have benefited from it. All it means is that you would only get to spend those 500 points on a VC game, and you wouldn't get to save them or use them on wiiware.

I got it when it was 500, thinking it would be useful. It was too slow to be very useful.

Never. Bit of a shame, but it's just not as handy as a computer with internet. My laptop and my Wii are in the same room and the laptop is the last thing I shut down. So I just don't use it on my Wii. I'm glad I got my money back in the form of a NES game. I'm really pleased choosing Punch-Out. A game I really enjoy, but still need to finish.

My PC often has problems so yes.

I use it quite often actually. But only for quick things that I don't feel like booting up my computer to do.

Only for YouTube, if I want to show everyone in my family a video I found. Websites are almost impossible to read unless you zoom in and scroll right and down and left and up and....

I use it all the time! In fact, it's the thing I use the most on the Wii!
