Retail? Would be great, but weren't the first 2 games released by Psygnosis (=Sony)? This would make a release now sheer impossible. The Sega versions were the product of some shady deal which also included a Saturn port of the first WIPEOUT done by Psygnosis when Sony already owned them.
Noir was released by Eidos. If SquareEnix thinks that they can squeeze some money out of enough nerds (though other nerds than usual, hehe) a rerelease is quite possible. Just think about their current portfolio...

Discworld was one of my all time favourite back on the PSX/One. It's really collectible now, I should've kept it!

I chat now and again to Mr.Pratchett's daughter, she's rather lovely!

No. The problem is (as liquidsoul mentioned) that it has only been release on DOS, Mac, PlayStation and the Sega Saturn. Non of which are available on the Wii's VC.

The bigger problem is that Discworld is around 430MB and the limit for Wiiware/VC games is 40MB, no amount of compression will make the file small enough, unless they split it up into 10 or 11 episodes ala Tales of Monkey Island which would be a ridiculous idea.

The only way we will see Discworld on the Wii is a full disc release, in which case they should release Discworld 1 & 2 together on 1 disc and possibly include Discworld Noir also.

Then how much data does N64 games take up? they are on the Wii's VC, those game can't take up much more then playstation games can they?

N64 games were between 4MB - 64MB which may go someway to explaining why certain N64 games have not been released on the Virtual Console.

Playstation CD's were in excess of 650MB and could handle a lot of cut scene's and FMV unlike N64 carts, this is the reason why Square switched allegiances to Sony when developing FF7, and is also why Discworld was never released on the N64, and will never be released on the Virtual Console unless Nintendo drastically increase the 40MB size cap.

Being realistic I doubt we will see any form of Discworld game released on the Wii so it is probably better to hunt down the PC version, does anybody know if they are available on Steam or an equivalent.

Discworld or any of the point and click games won't be on the Virtual Console. They will be on the WiiWare. But would like to see Discworld 1 and 2. Don't like Discworld Noir that much....
