Not only is getting a new Wii more but you lose all your VC, WiiWare games and save files on your current Wii. If you have alot of VC games and what not than sending it in will be the best solution.

Nope you cannot transfer VC games from one Wii to another. The only way is if you send two Wiis to Nintendo and asking them to do it for you.

This sounds like a problem I had last year. I had just bought MH3, but it wasn't working. It would show the splashscreen of MH3, but it wouldn't start properly. Eventually, no games would run at all. Turns out the disk drive stopped spinning.
Yeah the drive itself went out a year or two ago, had that fixed before...but now I just seems like a lens problem...(I can actually hear the drive doing its thing...trying to anyways, lol)

Well...no one didn't give me any suggestions...so I'm sending it in for repair...at least E3, this 3DS update, and that...Cartoon Network...explosion, punching....game, thing...will keep me busy until then. (and Pokemon)
