IGN: The holiday Wii lineup looks thin for the hardcore crowd. We see this. Gamers see this. What, if anything, is Nintendo planning to address it?

Oh good, I am neither a gamer or hardcore. Saves me from having to be IGNorant.

Ok, i dont see how no one is understanding my point here. I dont think this game will have great lasting appeal (im talking from the first wii sports game) Sure its fun for a while, but for me i havent opened the original wii sports for say over a year or 2. Before i conclude on this tho, can i just find out is this game going to be priced at 59.99 or something because the first was free and probably worth 19.99 in my opinion (not a bad price, im not trying to degrade it by saying that, im just saying)

@DaDun: The game itself will cost $30. (It comes with MotionPlus, which costs $20)

I too am worried about how long I will come back to the game, but archery, fencing, golf, bowling, frisbee, and best of all, table tennis should keep me coming back for more. The multiple modes of play adds more meat to the package as well.

Like eugene said, the local multiplayer is a major draw to the package. That and the awesome demonstrations of MotionPlus.

OOOO SWEET THEN, that means the game is 10 bucks and u get a motion plus for the other 20!??? that makes sense xD, i was thinking this was going to be like deca sports and be fulled priced xD. Thanks i might be interested now...but still i dont think theres going to be replay value xD, they toook out boxing which sucks (fencing is a bad replacement) and im not sure its worth it still.

No... The game "itself" costs $30, and it comes with Wii MotionPlus, which costs $20. That's $50 total.

I was still playing the occasional round of golf and 100-pin bowling a year ago when I gave my copy of Sports to someone who lost his. The other sports included are pretty awful after a week or so, but those two, despite being a tad wonky (to use the scientific terminology) to control, were golden, and the new one is going to improve them plus add quite a few other good sports, each with its own challenge modes. Seems like a ton of content to me, much of which is quite promising.

Come on, friends,
To the bear arcades again.
