Topic: *curses at Star Wars game*

Ugh...how do you get over those stinkin' lava pits inside the sandcrawler stage? I keep trying to jump over them but I always land in them and die...gah! And yes I've actually cursed at the game too. XD

Get closer to the edge before jumping? There's no trick to it, but I don't remember those jumps being particularly hard.

I can't remember if I was exactly close to the edge, guess I'll go try it again later. Darn ceiling, lol.

That part of the game is a bitch! Another thing about it that just pisses me off is how sometimes you fall in the lava and it kills you instantly and other times it doesn't. It makes that stage all the more frustrating. Not to mention you end up fighting a boss at the same time while avoiding falling to your death. That is my most hated stage. Tricky jumps during a boss over instant death lava. Great idea Lucasarts! NOT.

I tried double jumping at first and died each time. Then I just did a single jump and made it across each time. It seems to work better.

Super Star Wars is &!*@ hard. I'm inside the sandcrawler but I just keep getting killed by those giant upside down turrets. What was LucasArts smoking when they made this!?

For the upside down turrets just keep jumping and holding down the blaster button. They should drop pretty quick. If you keep jumping some of the blasts should miss you. Make sure your shots are hitting the base of the turret. It's hard if you die and lose your blaster upgrades. Keep at it you'll make it through and then wait till you see the Detention level in the Death Star

@Tony-The reason it is so dang hard was because I was trying to kill the laser turrets when I lost my blaster upgrades. I'm going to give it another try soon. Hopefully, I will clear the stage this time.

I know how hard it is without blaster upgrades. But the force will be with you ......always

Honestly I think the hardest part of the game was the Cantina level boss. Most bosses in the game are tough, but they have a pattern you can figure out. You need a little bit of luck to beat the Cantina boss.

Absolutely - the Cantina level boss is as good as impossible without a good blaster, so if you don't have it, or die at the level, or play as Chewie, you're doomed.

Do single, not double, jumps across each one. Do not stop between jumps, just keep holding right and jumping.

Argh this was driving me mad too last night! The thing that frustrated me the most is that when you die you re-appear a good distance back in the level so it takes ages to get back there again only to die in the same way. I'm enjoying the game but it's going to be a while before I can get to the end.
