I'm stuck on a level and I was hoping someone could assist. I should go look up the exact number but I think it's Stage 4, Area 2? Anyway, there's some sort of a storm in the background. I can cross the falling platforms just fine. It's just after that check point, I can't figure out how to get through the series of traps without losing all three energy bars. Any advice?

@KnucklesSonic8 This is actually a rather interesting puzzle. The traps are broken in the present (up) screen, but they give hints that there is something that will happen if you cross it. When you see steam rise from the pipes, fire will erupt in the past. When you see something push down and then back up, a blade will fall down in the past. The trick is to walk along the traps in the present to see where the traps are using the split, then you go through with the knowledge of where to go.

By the way, following that section, remember that you can slide. There is a part with falling platforms and sliding is necessary. That got me more than a few times.

On another note, both this and the DSiware game are recommended, though this version has updated graphics, music, and the benefit of having both worlds on one screen, making for easier multitasking.

KnucklesSonic8

You can slide there? I had no idea. Thanks. And yeah, I figured out the traps and where they appeared but getting by without losing all my lives wasn't working for me.

I figured. Thanks again. I'll test it out later when I'm not as occupied.

It´s a interesting puzzle. The present time it´s damage caused by the past of time. In the Past the mechanism system works OK!!!

Now I'm stuck on Zone 7, Area 1. There's this bomb-like thing chasing after me but I always die. I've tried shooting at it but the noise it makes almost sounds like an invincibility kind of sound effect. I've tried charging up my shot to destroy the bombs when it gets close to them but that doesn't seem to stop me from dying either. Can anyone assist?

S'okay. I figured it out on my own. Now I'm stuck in a spot shortly after this. It seems like it's towards the end of the Zone but I can't pass it. It's after the first checkpoint IIRC. It's the first time puzzle where you gotta move the block but I can't figure out how to get by the area without getting shocked by those enemies....

First, displaces the stone in the past time and move the stone for the left and split in the present time, up in the stone and jump in the platforms.

The far left, correct? I get up to the platforms just fine, it's just that (as I mentioned) there are some electric enemies blocking me from moving forward on the top screen.

edit:
Figured it out again. I'm on Area 2 now (right after the one described above) and boy is it tricky to clear with all your lives in tact.

OK, KnucklesSonic8.
Chronos Twins DX is a difficult game, but very exciting and fun.

eryx

KnucklesSonic8

It sure is but I'm really enjoying it.
By the way, Zone 4 (the digital-esque world) was pretty tough. Thanks for the help, BTW.

Do I need to start a New Game now on Hard difficulty? How much harder does the game get on Hard, cause I already thought it was pretty challenging.

Is "Scenery Mode" like a mode with mission objectives?

KnucklesSonic8

eryx

Yes, In the mode hard the only changes is for a recovery live and energy.

The scenery mode is for select directly any level of the game.

And when completes the hard mode unlock the extreme mode, this mode never don´t life recovery and energy.

KnucklesSonic8
