No.Unfortunately

What's this bit for again?

Dang. How do you plug the GC controller in?

It would be nice if it did. The second thumbstick would be a lot better than the old C-Stick IMO.

one more question then. Can the GC controller be used to play VC games?

Yes it can be used for most. If you are unsure when purchasing a VC game there will be an Icon on the shop channel for the particular game and it will show you the controllers that will work with it. It will show a picture of the GC controller once you click on this icon. Here is a link to Nintendo's site that will show youw hat controllers will work for what VC system you are downloading for.

Actually you can use the CC to play Gamecube games, but you'll need an adapter like this (doesn't work with CC PRO) or this (this one does work with the CC PRO).

Either one of those will also work with PS/PS2 controllers. Please note that the cords are really short so you'll need a GC extension cable and some game compilations like Midway Arcade Treasures Volume 2 will require you to disconnect and reconnect the CC. Oh, and the button mappings are a bit funny: GC A=CC B, GC B=CC Y, etc. It also works with some Wii games like Metal Slug Anthology.

@Sean
To paraphrase Nicholson as the Joker, "So that's where they get those wonderful toys!" I've been playing video games for almost 30 years and have never seen or heard of that site. Awesome!

I am the one you despise. I am he who says what you really deep down know but are affraid to admit. I am the Anti-Fanboy, the crusader of truth in a world built on your lies.

They're far cheaper than YesAsia and have really good turnaround on posting. Plus they take PayPal, so no credit card numbers need change hands. It's a win-win!
