Where's the second area? I'm not sure where to go... I beat the crab-thingy. So far, pretty cool. Not highly reccomended to newbs to the series (like me), but reccomended for people looking for a decent challenge and fans of the series of course.

The most minlicious of them all.

The second area: In the Ruins, there's a room that has long pathways that have occasional spikes. One pathway on the right side of the room leads to Caverns, Area 2. You NEED the powerup from the first boss to get any further than the first room, though.

Keep in mind that you have a map. Look for doors you haven't entered.

Oh, and in Area 3, you'll see there is a save cave underwater. I highly advise that you do not save down there. There is nothing in the cave to help you much, and getting back to SOPHIA will more than likely be impossible. Almost was, for me.

SOPHIA can be driven underwater.

@Rezone: Thanks for the link. So, in other words Daemon sucks at this game. That's a perfectly good reason to knock it, Right??....NOT. I'm guessing he's not a hardcore gamer.

Okay now that I actually know what you're talking about (I thought you meant you couldn't get back out of the water because you jumped off a cliff into the water or something)...
Once you get the hang of swimming a little bit then it's not too tough to escape without dying.

A quick tip for all those who have trouble achieving a flawless victory against bosses, and therefore have trouble keeping their weapons at power level 5:
There is a cave to the left of the area 4 boss (it should have been the last place you saved before heading to the boss, and the first place you saved afterward). It contains 3 rooms. The last room has enemies that disappear/reappear and shoot outward in 8 directions. 2 of these enemies are colored blue and drop P's.
You can leave the cave and come back any time to get more P's this way, and it takes roughly 3:20 to clear the cave and return to the entrance.

Oh and a quick warning to everyone playing this game - the difficult ramps up huge once you reach area 5. It's still manageable, though.

I can't beat the boss of area six. How do you kill him?

I found this to be the hardest boss of the game. He must be disabled before you can damage him. When he slumps then approach him from behind and then shoot. You must do this 5-6 times. Watch out for Scorpions and make sure all weapons are at level 5. Good luck

Actually, I found the 6th boss the easiest by far. You only need to down him 3 times if you have the level 5 machine gun, and his attacks are all relatively easy to avoid.

Now I'm stuck on the 7th boss, grgh.

(oh yeah, word of advice - the drill is a fantastic weapon, learn to love it. It pierces the heavens, and enemy bullets too! Plus it kills most everything in one hit.)
