Now that the worst has been done now lets have a look at the best
I have edited to include some of my favorites

The Best was Super Mario 64

That I haven't played before... DoReMi Fantasy.

Oh sure, Super Mario 64's greatness is legendary but I had already beaten it on the actual N64. I found myself not playing it as much as other games for that reason.

In fact, out of the games I downloaded that I used to own, I've been playing Super Street Fighter II a lot. And I also have SFIV and HD Remix downstairs (although my time has shifted to Tekken 6 when it comes to the XBOX 360)

Best that I'd not played before would be Super Castlevania IV, and then Act Raiser.

Zelda II.

OOT & MM, the only VC games I have bought while also owning the originals.

Phantasy Star IV

Must be my most played game on my wii.

Super Mario Bros. 3

Castlevania III.

Mostly cause its the only one i have.

Super Mario 64!

But the best one I hadn't played? Sin & Punishment.

I can't chose between: Paper Mario 64, SMRPG: Lot7S and SMB3
I don't have SM64, I have it already for DS.

Tough to say, but probably a 4-way tie between Lords of Thunder, Star Parodier, F-Zero X(I can't believe I hated that game so much as a kid! ), and Sin & Punishment.

Probably a 3 way tie between Metroid(nes), Castlevania III, and Super Dodgeball. I know Super Dodgeball is really shallow and glitchey as all holy hell, but I love it all the same.

Super Mario Bros 3, Zombies ate my Neighbors and Ninja Combat. And yes, I know Ninja Combat sucks, but I have fond memories of it.

for me: Gain Ground for Genesis. It's just awesome in 2players.
i don't say SMB 3 or others because i already have most of them on their own consoles
