I saw this game for $9.99 at Toys R Us today and was wondering if anyone here has played it and can reccomend it. For 9 bucks I may just take the plunge anyways, but I'd like to hear other opinions on the game.

It's a good game, but only for the hardcore mystery dungeon players.
Haven't played it yet, but I did get it for like $15 at Best Buy. I figured it can't be the worst game on the "budget" shelf. I don't know... Corey in the House for DS (yay random Disney Channel shovelware)... I haven't been to that store lately, I wonder if he's still in the house.
I played it for a brief while. It's difficult, of course. I didn't have the fortitude to keep playing it for longer, at least not that time. As a comparison, I finished Chobobo's Dungeon pretty soon after I got it.
Absolutely. Chocobo Dungeon is a far more accessible and entertaining Mystery Dungeon game, but then it's also cheerful and easy to play. Baroque is dark and gothic, and unless you're in the mood for it, it grows tiring quickly.
But if you do like dark, gothic visions, you'll be happy playing this one through.
@Brooks83 A lot of people over at the atlus fan club topic have played this game. If they don't see this topic post your question over there. I haven't played it but heard its a very hardcore game. If you die in the dungeons you lose everything. WaltzElf is pretty much giving you a good description from what I've heard. Oh and I know it's not an atlus game.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
Thanks for the comments guys. I went ahead and picked it up since the price was so good, so even if I don't enjoy it won't be a big loss. It will be a long while before I get a chance to play it anyways, as I have a huge backlog of games to play. I also picked up Call of Duty: World at War for 9 bucks too, not a bad deal imo.
