Topic: Anyone else having problems downloading Wii games?

I've tried downloading some WiiWare games while they're still available, but most of the time the download fails and it comes up with the error code 204038. A couple of games did successfully download, but only after a few failed attempts. I emailed Nintendo customer support and they said it may be because the Wii download servers are overcrowded at the moment. Has anyone else tried to download Wii games recently and had this problem? I'd like to find out whether it's a common problem (in which case it's probably a server issue) or if it's just happening to me.

I just download a lot of games but i didn´t have any problem. Maybe another user can answer, too.

Me gusta jugar videojuegos. Soy de México. Sorry my english grammar. I love the Virtual Console, party and fighting games too.

Yes. I had trouble downloading games both this week and 3 weeks ago. It was certainly annoying. It would also crash my Wii U to the point that it wouldn't even power off by holding the power button. Found out eventually that I could also exit to home menu while the error is on screen before clicking the button and avoid the crash that way.

It's its, not it's.

@DarkEdi @Late Thanks for the replies. I think it was a problem with my internet connection; I got it to work by connecting my Wii to a mobile hotspot on my phone.

@Dogorilla Thank you for the Nintendo WiiWare list you posted about two weeks ago.
I don`t do things like this and I can`t get them myself as they are OUTSIDE of London, Tamworth, Loughborough, Bristol and Tonbridge and it is an inconvenience for me to buy them through their website myself but I hope you get this message in time.
THERE ARE FIVE 2000 NINTENDO WII POINTS FOR £10 EACH AT CEX.

That's cheaper than buying points directly from the Wii Shop but they're physical cards so I won't be able to get them by tomorrow.
