Pardon me if this has been discussed before... But this game is begging to be released for Virtual Console Arcade! Anyone remember it? It was the first Skateboard game for the arcade and it was just so fun to play despite it being hard at times. Heck, this game was the inspiration for the title to Nintendo's "Skate or Die!" 720 ° was eventually ported to the NES but a true arcade port to the virtual console would do it justice. The Wii nunchuck is perfect for the control.

If only Midway's titles would make it to the VC then I'm sure this would be one of them. There was an NES port too.

I'm not sure I agree with the nunchuck being perfect (the game had a very weird control system), and I always liked the NES port better than the arcade version, too.
The arcade version can be found on Midway Arcade Classics.

(speaking of which, isn't this the first skateboard game ever released for anything? i thought "Skate Boardin'" for the 2600 was older, but apparently it's not (and dear god, that game was AWFUL))

I wonder why Skate or Die has not been released on the US VC? I expected that we would get the game soon after EU but it never happened.
