Topic: 50th SNES VC game?

Right now in NA, there are 47 SNES games on the VC. Think we might get something special for #50? I don't know if it was coincidence or not, but SMB3 was the 50th NES game on the VC. So...maybe Pilotwings? SMW2? Earthbound? What do you guys think?

@cheetah: Has there been no game already that emulated the chip? Contra III did, didn't it? I think Nintendo did that ages ago.

Nope. Here's a list of the games with Super FX support. None of them have been released:

You're thinking of a different chip. The SNES had about a million enhancement chips made so don't worry about it. It can be confusing sometimes.

I am hoping it is Super Mario Kart even thou i don't live in NA. Then release it in Europe and Aus so that everyone is happy

I don't understand why Nintendo can't use its billions of dollars to get the rights to all these games.

Good point. They could do the most wanted games (e.g Earthbound) and make tons of money off of them, thus making them a profit and that will compensate for the money they used to aquire the rights for the games.

Maybe cause it'd cost more to buy rights to a game than the money they'd get off it?
