Topic: 2D Wii games 2010!

I love my 2D games to bits and Wii has really had some exceptional releases (NSMBW, Muramasa, A Boy and his Blob, Megaman 9 and Lost Winds are all in my collection and each one has blown my mind) but I was just thinking which games I can look forward to in 2010, Currently I know of Lost in Shadow, Cave Story and La Mulana but can't think of any more OUTSTANDING 2D maybe you guys can help me out!

PS I think all 2D games sould now look like A Boy and his Blob and Muramasa (yes I've been spoiled, lol) and would love to see a
Megaman-esque game in this style maybe a new instalment in the Megaman Zero series, man that'd b e awesome!!

Meat Boy was 2D if I remember correctly. The new Metroid too (from the little video I've seen).

O, and don't forget Warioland Shake It! Awesome game.

yeah Meat Boy looks kinda cool a bit like "N" and yeah Metroid Another M looks like it'l be 2.5d which is cool. I'd love another combat game like Muramasa though or something with robots lol

Yeah played and completed that and klonoa (2.5d) both were cool, need to get Nyxquest aswell played the demo and it rocked!

Data East Arcade Classics is likely to have some choice 2D games in it I reckon...Burger Time anyone?

Cave Story is currently slated as a 2009 release. I wish people would stop passing off an assumed 2010 delay as fact. You're going to jinx it.

Definitely try out Klonoa. Nyxquest was pretty neat in the demo, so if you enjoyed that, then I'd say that's a great choice. Super Paper Mario is kind of a weird mix between 2D and 3D.

Sega is making a 2D Sonic game that right now is called "Project Needlemouse".

Hehe, "needlemouse". Clever.
But unfortunately I think they said it's only coming to HD consoles

Wasn't really feelin S.P.M. but Klonoa was gud, didnt have much replay value though
