Edit: Wait a second, didn't they do OOT remake for the 3ds? Didn't Nintendo say that Majoras Mask has been in development for like 3 years? I think we have pur answer has to what they've been doing.

I disagree with the 3DS remark. The only portable game they have made is Lugi's Mansion 2 which I wouldn't consider that friendly for being on the move (the motion controls and having to put the game in sleep mode during 20+ min levels when commuting annoyed me) and since they've worked on HD games before I'd see it as a waste if they didn't work on home console games too.
1. There will be now New 3DS-excluisve games. Xenoblade being exclusive was bad communication (could also be in a Direct, but still)
2. A proper online network (including eShop and VC)
3. Metroid something
4. A new Wii U model along with a price cut
5. A game that justifies amiibo
2. Pokemon Wii U in the vein of Colosseum and Gale of Darkness
That is definitely not happening without some kind of new developer behind the wheel, maybe not even at all. Game Freak refuses to make console games, and even if they didn't, they want Pokemon to be a kid friendly, casual experience. And Genius Sonority, the developer who made Colosseum and XD, moved away from consoles because they're too expensive.

1. New metroid game. Preferrably 2d with co-op, but I will take whatever I can get. Also a new wave of like 5 amiibos based on this game would be sweet. 2. Pokken fighters announced for Wii u. 3. Splatoon squid boy and girl amiibos announced. Also, a captain toad and toadette. 4. Super metroid remake for 3ds. 5. New kid icarus game for Wii u.

And that was close to two years ago. NLG said they work exclusively with Nintendo now so it's not like they've been busy with other things in between.
Perhaps Next Level Games is working on a Sin & Punishment for 3DS.
Or perhaps they are working on something that will actually happen.
Which is less likely: them working on a new Sin & Punishment, or them working on a new F-Zero (pretty sure Miyamoto's comments applied to a home console release, not a handheld one)?

No, please no. I love the Sin & Punishment games, but after the horrible controls of Kid Icarus: Uprising I won't touch any rail shooters that aren't on Wii U. I'd hate to see a series that mastered the control scheme on Wii with Star Successor get brutalized by bad 3DS controls just because it's the more popular system...too many series have done that already T_T.
I'd love to get a nice suprise on the Xenoblade release date...July maybe . Probably not, but that would be awesome. The other 4?
-New Retro game (it'd be great if it were original, but I'd take Prime 4)
-Zelda gets solidified for 2015...not bumped back
-Better amiibo functionality? It's kinda Meh right now
-Any unsuspected surprises (like Splatoon was)
