If they're smart, they won't go over $300. Who knows if it will even sell at that price. At $350, I probably won't get one for a while, and neither will the majority of my friends.
If Nintendo is smart they will price the Wii U higher than the PS3 and Xbox 360 so consumers will at least think they are getting the newest, latest and greatest, more advanced system.

I'm getting it day one regardless but i still don't think the tablet is all that innovative l. the ghost recon demo has me excited. but beyond that's the concept can and has been achieved with the ipad and airplay.

Ya, graphically speaking. Innovation/gameplay wise it's going to be a whole new ball game. But even so visually, seeing Mario jump into the HD world will be far more exciting(for me at least) than any of this Ratchet & clank S**t or LittleBigPlanet and basically every other PS3/XBOX 360 title on the planet. Besides, the Wii U is still going to be more powerful than the PS3, and I'm sure NIntendo is going to wow us regardless.
but this is what i don't get: y'all say things like 'nintendos next gen is everyone else's current gen' then add: 'Wii U is still going to be more powerful than the PS3'.
now i realise i am only a female, but i'd damn well hope nintendo's next gen is more powerful than the PS3 which is current gen.

Well I woudn't say most powerful graphics quality possible today. More like most powerful while being relatively affordable today.
