Topic: Wii U only turns on if warm.

I'm just curious if anyone else has had this problem. The Wii U will not turn on no matter what I do unless I warm it up with a hair dryer for about 20 seconds first. Does anyone know what the problem is? I will buy a new fan if that's the problem but I feel as if it is a motherboard problem. If anyone has had this problem, is there a solution? Thanks for the help.

Wait, what..? How do you even find out about that?

Have you checked the carburetor? Or the clutch? What kind of anti-freeze are you using?

...Oh, you're talking about a video game console? Yeah, I'm at a lose there, sorry. Maybe you should call up Nintendo and let them deal with this wondorous freak of nature.

Could you maybe knit a little sweater for it?

You guys had me at blood and semen.

Found a thread about it but no one had any permanent solutions or anymore details about the problem@Octane

The fan is to cool it down, not heat it up.

It's dangerous to go alone! Stay at home.

Just to point out, when you go to buy something from the eShop, scroll down the description page. You'll findn option that tells you what controllers are compatable with that specific game.

Dumb question, but, you know, troubleshooting...does the system rest in an environment that's at room temperature? It's not sitting on a cold floor in a basement or anything?

I know the fan is to cool it down. The system won't turn on until it is warmed by the hair dryer then it turn on and the fan turns on with it to cool it back down. I don't know if for some reason the fan isn't turn on right away and that's the reason the system won't turn on. I am not sure if it's a fan or mortgerboard problem. The system is in my living room on the entertainment stand with nothing else around it. The system is dust free.

I dunno, but I don't think heating it with a hair dryer is too good for the stuff inside the system. At the very least, make sure there's no disc inside when doing it...
