Topic: Wii U Recommendations Thread

As the Wii U launch approaches, Nintendo has been slowly rolling out information to keep the Hype Train moving. Recently, they showed off the 23 Launch Titles that North America will get on November 18th. Sadly, I have a limited budget that will only allow me to get one game at launch and with such a great variety of games, I don't know what game I want to get. I have narrowed it down to Assassin's Creed III, Batman Arkham City Armored Edition, Zombi U, Call of Duty Black Ops 2, and New Super Mario Bros U. Which launch title do you think I should get? I will actually take your comments into account when I go to pick up my Wii U.

Guys help me buy few good games for £200

My Library includes:

1. New Super Mario Brothers U
2. Pikmin 3
3. Need For Speed Most Wanted U
4. Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD
5. Sonic all star racing transformed
6. Call of duty black ops 2
7.NBA 2k13
8. Darksiders 2
9. Trine 2
10. BIT TRIP RUNNER 2
11. Star Wars pinball

I am going digital only, what should I buy?
I was thinking about

1. Wonderful 101
2. Sonic Lost Worlds
3. Super Mario 3D Land (well this one is for sure)
4. ___________
5. ___________

What to add in these 2 spots? I am undecided... (p.s. I love all good games, I am not genre oriented so I am undecided)

Unfortunately, I can't really say I'm enjoying it. I bought it a couple weeks ago and still haven't finished it. It just doesn't feel right somehow. Sonic's movements are a bit janky: nothing feels very smooth or "in place." The speed doesn't bother me, because I don't mind that they were trying for something a little different, but if the controls and gameplay just aren't fun, then I can't recommend the game.

Hi everybody,

I just got myself a Wii U Deluxe bundle with Nintendoland and bought four games with it: Super Mario 3D World, Zelda: The Wind Waker, Pikmin 3 and Rayman Legends and plan on getting The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past on the Wii U VC. Additionally, I bought a Wii Remote Plus Additional set (Wii Remote Plus + Nunchuk).

I just wanted to know, which controller is best for each of these six games? What gives the best feeling. Thanks in advance!!

Super Mario 3D World - Pro Controller
Zelda: Wind Waker HD - GamePad (Map + Inventory)
Pikmin 3 - GamePad (Map)
Rayman Legends - GamePad + Pro Controllers
