Value is how you see something. To me, I owned the GC version and loved it and I can either see it two ways. 1. It's the game i loved in HD with extras and I get to nostalgia my way through a fun adventure for 30 odd hours (longer than an average game in anybody's books). Or I can choose to think "I've played it before, it's not worth it.".
I choose the former! In the same way that I've often listened to one of my favourite old albums, remastered with improved sound, I fancy going back and having a blast .
@Grumblevolcano: On the GameCube at least. Not sure if there are more expensive worthwhile games on that system, but it's one of the reasons why I never got into Fire Emblem, most of the games that are playable on my systems are way too expensive.
@Chandlero: Well, the Wii version sold a lot more than the GCN version, so there's an abundance of copies of the Wii version; and there's the idea that the GCN version is the superior version, making it more sought after than the Wii version.
Has it been confirmed which version of Twilight Princess this is based on? I'm assuming it's possible to switch between Gamecube and Wii - I've noticed Link is left handed in the footage I've seen, but it's been so long since I've played it, I can't tell if the world is flipped or not.
The way to tell if it's flipped or not is whether the layout matches Ocarina of Time. I realized this about 8 years after it released, because I'd only ever played the Wii version.
Okay, I think it's late enough that we can assume that Nintendo isn't putting a motion control option, even though the control scheme already exists, and they just need to port it over.
This game is quickly joining Tales of Symphonia: Chronicles on my blacklist of lazy re-releases that LOST features. Why does this only happen to my favorite games? I pray they never "remake" Xenoblade Chronicles or Pandora's Tower and ruin those too...
Currently Playing: Steamworld Heist, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Tales of Graces F

1. TP:HD has motion control aiming support through the gyro
2. TP:HD goes back to the original, with a left-handed Link. Link was made right-handed in the Wii version just so the Wiimote+Nunchuck input would make sense to the majority of players.

1. I know, doesn't count
2. That's the worst excuse ever. Allowing the player to choose a control option at the beginning, and then setting the world the original way or mirrored is not a complicated solution. Hell you said Hero Mode is mirrored anyway.

@iKhan Eh, I think you're being biased because you love the Wii motion controls so much that any game (especially Nintendo's) that doesn't support it is automatically "lazy."
If this game doesn't support 60fps, now that's going the lazy route.
@Vee_Flames: The games runs at 30fps as the original.
By the way, @iKhan is not biased but rather disappointed and confused that a control scheme, which worked and was original, was cut in the "remake". It doesn't make any sense to me since it could be fully optional.
Yes, and Hero Mode has one of the Wii version's flaws as well, that's not present in the normal mode. Would make sense to have Wiimote support there, making it the "true" Hero Mode. Anyone who has the patience to use the inaccurate aiming of the Wiimote instead of the gyro is a true Hero.
How would the camera changes work with the Wiimote? There's only one stick.

AFAIK, iKhan doesn't even have a Wii U. It's just a Wii player who likes to make hypothetical arguments about the Wii U.

It's 1080p and 30fps, just like WW:HD. They went for resolution instead of fps. There's no Wii U 3D game at 1080p/60fps, so it's reaching the technical limits of the Wii U.
